Their Changing Bodies
A Teenager's Greatest Worry
Probably the most frequent questions
that teenagers have is "Am I normal?"
A teen could be feeling strange about many aspects of themselves
that would make them ask this question. It could be that they
are unsure about their development and their appearance. They
could be confused about some of the new feelings that they are
having or about their relationship with their parents or others.
They may be experiencing same-sex crushes or crushes on other
teens.
Whatever the problem is - your
teen will need reassurance. Adolescence
is a time of body change where teen's feelings can become
strong and conflicted. If you or your teen has a question that
needs answering you should consult your family physician.
